Studies show that people are better, feel better, and only have more common feelings of welfare when they can do an annual vacation and move away from it all. But how do you travel cheaply in this age and time when the majority of people live a salary to pay salaries?
What if you put everything on plastic and do holiday compliments from your credit card company? Of course, you can do that, and may feel like you save money because, after all, there is no salary for your trip. But think about it because you will pay a double or threefold for your trip for the long term.
So let’s start with the basics, just get to your destination. Traveling to local holidays you will eat most of your budget, so let’s focus at that time.
You can drive but really, with gas prices, you might be much better to fly. So, if you want to fly cheap, what is the best way to do it? Offline travel agent? Online travel site? Call the airline company and buy your ticket by telephone? Buy from the company website? Which road will save the most money for your vacation?
Planning in advance is still the best way to set up your ticket. Yes, you can sometimes print a big ticket at the last minute and save a bundle of cash, but chances are you won’t be able to get a common seat even if there is an agreement. And for me, it won’t be fun if I have to sit with strangers on my flight. That’s if you can even find a last minute trip agreement from the start. You can if you know where to look and diligently, but plan ahead for the best opportunity for a big savings.
Another tip I have for you is to trace air fees for a while before buying. It’s the fact that certain days and certain times will produce greater savings for your air travel. Save the ticket price record every day a week. Check several times a day. It becomes rather fun actually, seeing various offers that sometimes appear. And hey, if you are lucky and the price is very extraordinary appearing, take it! But on the contrary, for a week or more you will see the best time to buy your plane ticket.
